Terms of Service

By using SiteSnap ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. These Terms are the end-user license agreement ("EULA") between you and SiteSnap and govern all access to the Service, whether through the web application, field mode, or the SiteSnap API. Please read them carefully before using our measurement and site assessment tools.

1. Accuracy Disclaimer

Measurements are estimates generated by AI. Field verification is required before ordering materials.

SiteSnap uses artificial intelligence and satellite/aerial imagery to generate roof measurements and material estimates. These measurements are approximations and should be treated as preliminary estimates only. Users must independently verify all measurements on-site before purchasing materials, submitting bids, or beginning any construction work.

SiteSnap is not liable for any discrepancies between AI-generated estimates and actual field measurements, including but not limited to material shortages, overages, or project delays resulting from reliance on our estimates.

2. Field Safety

User assumes all risks when using the mobile app on active job sites.

When using the SiteSnap mobile application at construction sites, rooftops, or any other field locations, you assume full responsibility for your personal safety. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Falls from heights or elevated surfaces
  • Injuries from construction equipment or materials
  • Distraction-related accidents while using the mobile device
  • Exposure to hazardous materials or conditions
  • Any other injuries sustained while on active job sites

Always follow OSHA guidelines and site-specific safety protocols. Never use the mobile app while in an unsafe position or without proper fall protection equipment when required.

3. No Financial Services

This service does NOT provide financial advice, credit checks, or lending services. Site assessments are for measurement purposes only.

SiteSnap is a measurement and site assessment tool only. We do not:

  • Provide financial advice or recommendations
  • Conduct credit checks or credit reporting
  • Offer loans, financing, or payment plans
  • Act as a financial intermediary
  • Provide insurance assessments or claims processing
  • Guarantee pricing or material costs

Any cost estimates shown are for informational purposes only and do not constitute quotes, bids, or financial commitments of any kind.

4. User Responsibilities

By using SiteSnap, you agree to:

  • Verify all measurements before making purchasing decisions
  • Use the service only for lawful purposes
  • Not rely solely on AI-generated data for critical decisions
  • Maintain appropriate insurance for your roofing business
  • Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SiteSnap and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SiteSnap's total liability for all claims, damages, or judgments arising out of or relating to any single project, measurement, pull, or report shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for that project on the app (https://getasitesnap.com). In no event shall SiteSnap's aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service exceed the total amount you have actually paid to SiteSnap for the Service. These limits apply regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, even if SiteSnap has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Data Ownership and Report License

SiteSnap owns the measurements. You own your business data and hold a perpetual license to every report we issue to you.

SiteSnap retains all right, title, and interest in and to the measurement data generated by the Service — including roof geometry, edge lengths, areas, pitches, imagery derivatives, and all derived analysis ("Measurement Data") — regardless of which account requested the measurement. Measurement Data is licensed for your use through the Service, not sold.

Upon issuance of a report, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use, reproduce, and distribute that issued report (including its PDF form) for your business purposes. This license survives termination of your account.

The customer records, pricing, and CRM data you enter into the Service remain yours. SiteSnap claims no ownership of your business data and will not use it other than to operate the Service for you.

7. Data Export

Issued reports and their PDF artifacts held in your tenant database are exportable at any time, together with the customer records, pricing, and CRM data you own. Raw database records — including Measurement Data, geometry, and analysis intermediates — are not exportable and may not be extracted, scraped, or bulk-copied from the Service or its API. API responses may include issued report artifacts and, where offered, selected measurement values; inclusion of raw Measurement Data in any API response is at SiteSnap's discretion and does not transfer ownership.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
